Moeava de Rosemont


Biography
Moeava is born in Tahiti (French Polynesia) and grew up in Corsica Island (Mediterranean Sea) where he started diving at 9 years old and then obtained his dive certifications.
After a cinema school, he works for TV productions and travels around the world as under water lighting technician and then camera operator, in many situations: speleologist dive, deep wreck dive, archaeologist dive, and scientific program.
In 2001, he came back in French Polynesia and settled in Bora Bora Island.
There, he is working as a free lance and he co-created the Manta Polynesia research and protect, a non profit organisation dedicated in Manta rays survey and protection, and most generally in Bora Boras lagoon conservation.
In a few years and hundreds dives, he collected a valuable database and archived hours of manta rays footage. He is now working on a research program project in collaboration with an US marine biologist Doctor.
Now he is still diving almost everyday, trying to catch other unique footages and still working on his diving skills. After over 20 years diving experience and ten years filming, he developed a steady style inducing great nice moves and steady shots.
