The Blubberlip snapper, Lutjanus rivulatus, also known as Maori Snapper, is a species of snapper native to the Indian Ocean and into the Pacific Ocean as far east as Samoa. They inhabit waters over rocky substrates at depths from 50 to 100 m (160 to 330 ft). The maximum length is 80.0 cm (31.5 in), and weight reaches 11.0 kg (24.3 lb).
