Sandy spent the majority of her life in Boulder, Colorado. She is an avid outdoorsman enjoying all mountain activities. In 2007, she started filming wildlife in Rocky Mountain Park, Mt.Evans and other prime Colorado locations. Relocating to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in early 2015 allowed her to focus on the abundant "wild" opportunities the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem has to offer. Sandy spends 260 days a year in the field, many of those nights sleeping near the subjects she is filming. Sandy shoots with multiple 36x24mm full frame sensor 1DX Mark ll bodies in DCI 4K at 4096x2160 (59.94 at 800+Mbps and 23.98 at 500+Mbps). Sandy only uses Canon's fastest prime lenses for outstanding color, sharpness and the ability for extremely shallow depth of field! All animals are wild and filmed on public lands accessible to anyone. NO GAME FARM/ZOO ANIMALS!! Sandy was honored to be a semi-finalist in the 2019 Nature's Best Video Competition for her video "Wildlife in White"
